# Drum sound sets

pinned to commit `77ba31428a079dd8f17c8e144c1e649ea0a198b3`.

The publisher releases the samples under
[CC0 1.0](https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/), including use,
modification and redistribution. The publisher's original statement is preserved
in `SOURCE-LICENSE.txt`. See `manifest.json` for each original download URL,
byte size, and SHA-256 digest. These are original downloaded bytes, renamed by
instrument without processing.

| Local set | Original collection | Character |
| ------------ | ------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| `bounce/` | 02 Bounce | Round, clean electronic drums |
| `vintage/` | 03 Soulful Vintage | Short, reduced-resolution electronic drums |
| `hard-trap/` | 01 Hard Trap | Heavier processed electronic drums |

Each set contains `kick.wav`, `snare.wav`, `clap.wav`, `hat.wav`,
`open-hat.wav`, and `perc.wav`. These are six selected one-shots per set, not
whole loops or the publisher's entire library. Percussion differs by kit: high
tom, maraca, and rimshot respectively. The kits were published for hip-hop/trap;
the player uses its own techno/dub-inspired sequencing, and does not claim they
are authentic Berlin techno hardware kits.

The upstream README describes derivation from the CC0
[TidalCycles TR-808 Fischer library](https://github.com/tidalcycles/sounds-tr808-fischer).
That original library's documentation credits Michael Fischer for the
recordings; the newer collection's attribution wording differs. Preserve both
provenance links rather than claiming a different recording author.

The page contains embedded copies of these WAVs for standalone `file://` use. It
performs no runtime sample downloads. Its three procedural kits are generated
separately using the Web Audio API and are not presented as downloaded assets.
