Packing the surfaces…

A power law makes small disks plentiful and large disks rare. The number of surface disks scales with sphere area. Every nested circle stays inside its parent.

Drag the small sphere to turn it; drag the background to turn the outer sphere. Steering follows the screen at every angle. Scroll to zoom. Smaller disks turn faster: angular speed ∝ 1 / radius. The camera sits between the two spheres.

The sound

A soft field of twelve drifting harmonics. Sound starts only when you enable live playback. Video sound renders separately.

Include synthesized sound

Sound is included by default, even when live playback is muted. The export uses the Volume setting above.

Save directly to disk · for long videos

Renders every frame from the current view, without the interface. Slower hardware takes longer without skipping frames. Keep this tab visible and the device awake; hiding it waits without skipping video time. Sound renders offline too. One-hour 4K videos need direct disk saving and sufficient free space. The live scene resumes afterward.
