Seed

Click or tap the sky to call down a close strike. Lightning grows as a stepped leader with branches, lights the clouds from inside, and lands on the hills or in the lake. Flash brightness softens the glare; reduced-motion settings start the storm paused, dimmed, and still.

Thunder is synthesized and arrives after its flash, delayed by distance as sound is: close strikes crack and boom, far ones roll through a valley echo. Sound starts when you enable it.

Include storm sound

Sound is included by default, even when live playback is muted. The export uses the sound levels above.

Save directly to disk · for long videos

Renders a fresh storm from the current seed and settings, frame by frame and without the interface. Slower hardware takes longer without skipping frames. Keep this tab visible and the device awake; hiding it waits without skipping video time. The screen shake is not part of the video. One-hour 4K videos need direct disk saving and sufficient free space. Your live storm resumes afterward.
